Why Study History of Art

Hannah Fryman took part in ARTiculation when she was at school in Manchester. She now studies History of Art at The University of Birmingham. Hannah is president of her Art History Society and is working with ARTiculation to support students wanting to take part in the Prize.

ARTiculation works with several partners across the West Midlands to engage young people in the arts. These include The Barber Institute, The Ikon gallery, New Art Gallery Walsall, Herbert Art Gallery and Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

Get in touch with Hannah if you are at the University of Birmingham or thinking of going there.

The University made this film about why studying history of art is important.
